Annotation

The article examines the problem of coverage of the political crisis of autumn 1993 in Russia by Runet bloggers. In the last decade, new media have grown significantly stronger and gained authority for a wide audience to whom they tell and attempt to explain the past and present. The main provisions of videos about the crisis page of Russian history by large and well-known bloggers of various political orientations are criticized. The article brings up for discussion the need to pay more attention to educational activities by the professional scientific community in order to competently and correctly explain to the public controversial issues of Russian history and thereby form historical memory without distortion.
