Annotation

The article is devoted to the history of measures aimed at control of infectious diseases in Khakassia during the Great Patriotic War. It is shown that since the beginning of the war, an unfavorable sanitary and epidemic situation arose in the region, and the main areas of activity of the Regional Health Department of Khakassia in the field of organizing control of infectious diseases during the war period. It considers a set of sanitary and preventive measures aimed at suppressing epidemic outbreaks in Khakassia. In general, as a result of the medical staff’s active work, they managed to prevent the epidemic threat and create a relatively favorable sanitary situation in the region.
