Annotation

The paper attempts to collect a temporary systematization of disparate sources on the implementation of orders from the Soviet government, the Moscow State Committee of the VKP (b) and the Moscow City Council for the laying and construction of schools in Moscow in 1936. In that year, a record was set in the field of school construction in the capital for the construction of 152 buildings, some of which are still in operation. The construction record has not been beaten to this day. Based on official publications, documents of the MK and MGK of the VKP (b), the Moscow City Executive Committee, the Moscow City Council and the Moscow City Council, MONO, stored in the State Archive of the Russian Federation (GARF) and the Central State Archive of the City of Moscow (CGA of Moscow), local press materials, memoirs of contemporaries, the authors identify the nature and pace of construction of school buildings, The place and role of the Moscow government and society in this process are shown by the main results and results of mass school construction.
