Annotation

The review examines and analyzes a new monograph by Professor A. A. Ivanov (St. Petersburg State University), dedicated to the life and work of a prominent representative of the monarchist camp of the early 20th century. Black Hundred and nationalist N. E. Markov. It is noted that this is not the author’s first experience of turning to the biographies of the leaders of the Black Hundred movement in Russia, however, this is the first scientific biography of N. E. Markov, which examines both the pre-revolutionary and postrevolutionary emigrant periods of his activity. The strengths of the monograph are noted, in particular, its extensive source base.
